Aisha Hinds is an American actor best recognized for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she has demonstrated her ability as an actress, delivering stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. As of 2005 she was noticed initially for her role as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her character in the role of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) on the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind was also acknowledged for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The series was renewed for the third series from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently finished filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
