Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed a knack for sports early, and discovered her athletic abilities while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial time she tried out, she was ranked 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school in 2003 and signed with Adidas to become a professional athlete. Following that, she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s and set a new junior world record. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion for running 200m. She won the title in 2007. defended the title against her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked within the top three athletes at her particular events.
